I love travelling and learning about different cultures – but naturally, the lockdowns made this difficult. That’s why I loved taking part in this Secrets of Chiang Mai virtual class for the Experience Gifts ‘At Home Experiences’ review series. This was booked via Airbnb, and taught by Sue from her home in Thailand!

As part of Experience Gifts’ ‘At Home Experiences’ review series, I took part in this Chinese soup dumplings class from my kitchen and wrote up a detailed review for our website. I was taught by dumpling expert Cici, and joined by a group of different guests from all over the world! 

In March 2020 (just before the pandemic!) I planned and executed a promotional charity event with a small team of colleagues in association with one of our partners, Up At The O2. We also cross-promoted with the charitable organisations and a few bloggers to gain backlinks to the Experience Days website, and reached out to a variety of companies such as Paperchase, Bird & Blend Tea, and Lee Stafford to donate products for promotional goodie bags that we gave out at the end of the event…. 

As a lifelong writer and lover of travel, I am always fascinated to discover destinations that have been made famous by authors or their work. In this article for Xperience Days, I explore the best places for book-lovers across the US. 

This is a guide I created during Halloween season, aimed at the US domestic tourism market. In it, I outline the best ‘spooky’ tours of New Orleans. 

I wrote a short series of blogs for City Girl, reviewing sports media from an outsider’s perspective. The aim was to determine whether you need to be interested in a specific sport to watch a piece of media about said sport, or whether the piece of media stood on its own merit. This is my review of Moneyball – from the perspective of someone who doesn’t know the first thing about baseball! 

The second in my series of blogs for City Girl, this film review sets out to determine whether you need to know anything about competitive sports car racing in order to enjoy the Christian-Bale-helmed biopic Le Mans 66.

I continue to explore the topic of sports media from the perspective of someone who has never attended a single sports game. In this article, I’m asking whether Jason Sudeikis’ moustachioed charm is enough to override my absolute indifference to football.
