Alex Scarlett

Over the past 7 years, I’ve created compelling, SEO-optimised content across the travel, leisure, and e-learning spaces.

I specialise in blog content, web copy, email marketing, brand storytelling, and content strategy, underpinned by an authentic voice that connects to curious and adventurous audiences.

Right now, I’m a Web Content Writer at Thrive Learning, where I write case studies, blogs, and high-converting web content for L&D professionals.

Before that, I was Content Manager at Experience Days Ltd., where I oversaw the digital content across three experiential gift brands, four websites, and six countries. This encompassed everything from product pages and blogs, to email campaigns and social copy.

I’ve written about vineyard tours, skydives, afternoon teas, dog photoshoots, and just about every unique experience you can think of. I have a knack for making a product come to life on the page, whether it’s a hot air balloon ride, a DIY soap-making kit, or a learning platform.

When I’m not writing for brands, I’m writing fiction. I’m a graduate of the Curtis Brown Creative Novel Writing Course and represented by Peters, Fraser & Dunlop Literary Agency. I’ve had a film screened at The BFI, been mentored by Kerry Hudson, and won the Waterstones and Sunderland University Short Story Award. My debut novel is currently in the works.

Also: I love vintage trains, boat rides, old libraries, independent coffee shops, and cats.
